FRANCINE, FOUND — Inside Flap of Book

Frankie Summer —ginger-haired, frecked, half-introvert, half-extrovert — is doing her best to finish community college while everyone she knows seems miles ahead of her in adulthood. Overwhelmed by her family’s expectations and not quite ready to grow up, she travels, she stalls, she dreams, and eventually lands back home in the modest apartment above her parents’ garage. Between waitressing shifts at Manny’s Diner and classes in journalism and creating writing at Delson College, Frankie tries to piece together her future. But the past she never knew is calling louder than ever.

A cozy retro-style diner with a table set for four, featuring glasses of water, plates, and condiments. A booth with red upholstery lines the wall. A window with a hanging lamp above it provides soft lighting. Decor includes vintage car signs and a checkerboard border.
